China's industrial production index is dynamically increasing since the 3rd quarter 2016

The course of China's industrial production from the year 2000 to 2016 is already published here. As growth rates of industrial production have recently changed more strongly, this article follows their quarterly and temporarily monthly course.

Update December 22nd, 2017 - The diagram shows the growth rates since November 2016. They moved in a range from 6.0% to 7.6%. These are rates adjusted for prices, i.e. real growth rates.


From January to November 2017 industrial production grew by 6.6% compared to the same period of previous year according to the National Statistical Office of China.

Index of China's industrial production is dynamically increasing since the 3rd quarter 2016

The diagram shows the quarterly index changes of China's industrial production since the first quarter 2013 up to the third quarter 2017.

Since 2014 industrial production grew continuously, however, at lower growth rates as the diagram confirms. Since the third quarter 2016 growth rates are again increasing compared to previous quarters.
