Fair Automation World in Seoul
Fair Automation World highlights Industry 4.0 and integrated solutions
From 27 to 29 March 2019, the "Automation World" exhibition took place in Seoul, South Korea, at the Coex Exhibition Centre.
In comparison to automation trade fairs in Germany, there are three special features. Image processing plays a much greater role in the components on display. The accompanying trade fair Korea Vision Show underscored this.
As in China, robots are an integral part of the trade fair and do not form a separate, staggered trade fair as it is the case with Automatica in Germany.
Industrial robots were presented partly as stand-alone machines, partly as subsystems of integrated solutions. Robotics and image processing were often combined.
Industry 4.0 shaped the lecture series under the motto "Smart Factory". Hyundai, one of the largest Korean companies, not only manufactures cars, but is also involved in industrial automation with various companies owned by the group.
Hyundai Electronics and Hyundai Robotics flow into H!Factory together with the claim of a complete supplier for factory automation.
